The Police were a new wave band which formed in 1977 in London, England. The band consisted of Sting (vocals, bass), Andy Summers (guitar) and Stewart Copeland (drums). The Fashionistas are a band in Brooklyn, NY who formed in Rochester, NY around 2004, in the basement of the legendary Kingsboro house - a part-time party venue that hosted bands like Que Pasa, Gak Attack!, Monkey Space Station, and Caboose At Last. The band started when drummer, Matt Nicole, began playing music with bassist, Peter Mulroy, when both of Nicole's legs were broken and in full casts.
