Hinder is a hard rock group inspired by post-grunge music that was formed in Oklahoma City in July 2001 when guitarist Joe Garvey and drummer Cody Hanson discovered Austin Winkler singing for a cover band at a college dorm party. "I heard him and was blown away," said Cody. "He has the kind of charisma very few people have and that unique voice. You can't really compare him to anybody." Behind the Sun was formed on the edges of the Negev desert in the south of Israel. The music and lyrics speak of their personal trials and tribulations living in this heavenly but harsh land. The music contains: heavy, electric, tube driven riffing, blended with progressive styles and sensibilities and their own skeptical, cynical, but in the end positive philosophy as written word and amplified sound. Behind the Scenes was founded in 1993 by Melrow (Vocals, Programming), and Fred B.(Bass, Programming). Started as a small project, Behind the Scenes quickly grow and the first demo-tape was recorded. In 1998 they recorded their first album, called "FRAGMENT" which entered directly into the german alternative charts (DAC) and stayed there for several weeks. Their second album "HOMELESS" was released in 2000 by "Bloodline" and afterwards in the USA through Dancing Ferret Disks.
