The Paladins are a San Diego-based trio formed in the 1980's. The band is best known for their high-energy rockabilly sound, but a sound their own, built on country, early rock & roll, blues and jazz. This distinctive sound has earned them shared billing with the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughan, Los Lobos, X, The Blasters and The Fabulous Thunderbirds. The Paladins are: Dave Gonzalez-guitar & vocals, Thomas Yearsley-upright and electric bass, Jeff Donovan/Brian Fahey-drums. or a 1960s Brazilian psych group .

There are/were four bands called Paladin. A semi successful UK Prog rock band, a local to Boston garage punk band, an ecclesiastical power metal band from England, and a Power-Thrash band from Atlanta. 1.) PALADIN were formed in 1970 by drummer Keith Webb and keyboard player Pete Soley. Having toured with the Rolling Stones as backing musicians, they decided the time was right to unleash their own creativity. Dan Paladin, also known by the alias "Synj", is an animator/game designer. He works for the company "The Behemoth" and he is responsible for the award-winning game "Alien Hominid", and the upcoming game "Castle Crashers". His CD "Watermelon" is a side project. .
