Wehrmacht is a U.S. band from Portland, Oregon, which was formed in the mid-1980s. While they were influenced by the likes of Slayer, Van Halen, Kiss, and various punk/hardcore bands, they played speed metal. This was accomplished for the most part by drummer Brian Lehfeldt's technical proficiency and speed in conjunction with guitarist Marco Zorich's fast alternately picked, muted E-string. Sturmwehr is RAC band from Gelsenkirchen (Germany), which is founded between 1993/94 by Jens Brucherseifer (guitar) and Rony Krämer (drums). Then Detn join the band as singer. Charlotte Death Metal band, Wehrwolfe, came into being during 2002 with the split of Darkmoon. This previous act had folded when vocalist Jon Vesano teamed up with Nile, the remaining three musicians, including the Demonic Christ associated rhythm section of bassist Devon Penrod and drummer Scott Pletcher, forging ahead as Wehrwolfe by enlisting singer Nathan Ellis.
