Alias of BEMANI artist Sota Fujimori, first used for the jubeat song Move That Body. According to Fujimori, the "Expander" name refers to the Oberheim Xpander, an analog synthesizer he used during his college years. May also refer to Expander, Portuguese DJ and label owner of Soniculture .

David Lilja and Patrik Rydberg are two musicians and producers from Sweden. In 1989, they started to make music together. This was a beginning of Cut 'n' Paste recording studio. Featuring members of Bron y Aur and the Cue Lie, Plasma Expander were formed in 2004 in Cagliari (Sardynia). No goal was planned but to play freely and spontaneously across drums and guitars instinctive sections, merely patterned either on a mood or a slight outline. Andrew (aka Xpander) was born in Moscow in 1982. He got into drum & bass about 10 years ago, and 5 years later he started making his own tunes. Now, he's more deeply works with the drum & bass sound.
