Yucca is a name of at least three acts:

1) A Japanese new age / neomedieval female singer, who was an operatic soprano, with 東京混声合唱団 (1999 to 2003). Her solo album début was "千の風になって" (Feb 2007, ポニーキャニオン) and her latest is "Prima donna" (Sep 2009, ポニーキャニオン).

2) A Japanese post-rock band, with members: Yuki Kawana (keyboards, vocals), Katsuyuki Umezaki (bass), Ayako Shinada (drums, vocals) and Yusaku Enomoto (guitar, vocals). Their début album was "Laboratory Products" (2005, abcdefg*record).

3) A Nuremberg, Germany band, who make a danceable blend of guitar-based, electronic and synthetic styles. Their début album was "Quick, Let's Beat It" (Jul 2006) and the latest is "A Different Time In A Different Place" (Apr 2009).

Originally formed in 2001 - In early 2006, Jensen (former one man and his droid drummer), teamed up with the four guys, when the music became more danceable and disco-like, as the whole band utilised synthesizers more.
