MISIA（ミーシャ、本名非公開、1978年7月7日 - ）は、日本の女性歌手である。リズメディア所属。血液型はO型。彼女は、5オクターブの音域を持つと言われている。 デビュー当時からテレビにはほとんど出演しないが、CS放送には出演したことがある。近年はラジオ番組の出演が多い。そんな彼女ではあるが、「On the street where you live（君住む街で）」がテーマソングのアサヒ飲料「バヤリースオレンジ」のCMには、遠くからではあるが、熱気球に乗ったMISIAが3秒ほど映っていた。 また、メロンパンが大好物で、メロンパンダというメロンパンとパンダを組み合わせたキャラクターをデザインしたことがある。その後、メロンパンダのテーマ曲「甘い恋人」も発表した。 来歴 幼少時代は長崎県の対馬で過ごし、教会でゴスペルに触れ、黒人のヴォイストレーナーに師事した。西南学院大学商学部中退。 1998年にシングル「つつみ込むように…」でデビュー。先行発売したアナログ盤5000枚は即完売し、間もなくアナログ市場で高値で取引された。デビューアルバム『Mother Father Sister Brother』は300万枚近い売り上げを記録。2000年には、フジテレビ系テレビドラマ『やまとなでしこ』主題歌の「Everything」が出荷ベースで200万枚を突破した。 2002年にレコード会社をアリスタジャパン（BMGファンハウス傘下）から所属事務所が設立したRhythmedia Tribe（エイベックス傘下）に移籍。2004年、女性ソロ・アーティストとしての初の5大ドームツアー完全制覇を達成。 2005年3月31日、愛・地球博にアメリカの歌手エリカ・バドゥと出演。同年、ほっとけない 世界のまずしさキャンペーンに参加。2007年にはレコード会社をBMG JAPANに復帰する事が発表された。 .
