HIDEOUS DIVINITY's music starts taking form in January 2007 between Oslo (Enrico, former founding member of HOUR OF PENANCE now living in Norway) and Rome (Synder & Mauro, both members and ex-members of... way too many bands to mention). There are more than one Surrender Dorothy. The Milwaukee Version began as a jamming rock band at Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI back in 1985. Dan Carney, Tom Connell, Linda Heegeman, Tim Heuer, Tom Huguelet, Steve Jaracz and Kurt Urban formed the heart of the revolving door that was to become Surrender Dorothy for the next few years.
