Epica是荷兰的一支交响金属，哥特金属乐队。创立于2003年。
2002年Mark jansen离开了after forever,金属迷们为之感到惋惜。但他却给我们带来了更大的惊喜---EPICA，气势恢弘的演奏、女声厚实的古典唱腔、庞大的唱诗班气势与力量并重的交响效果以及在古典唱腔中穿插的死腔仿佛有如天使与恶魔之间的对话都够成了一副副壮丽的景象，在深深的聆听的过程中，思绪万千，可以说现今的EPICA绝对拥有和after forever相媲敌的实力，可以说在Mark jansen的带领下EPICA给乐迷太大的惊喜。
他们有一个合唱团 ( 有两个男高音和4个女高音） 和一列管弦乐队（3个小提琴、两个中提琴、两个大提琴和一个直立式贝司）.
Epica 乐队混合了哥特金属和交响金属 其他成分还有力量金属。 吉他手Ad Sluijter形容到乐队就像：“ 一座桥把哥特金属和力量连接起来” 主唱Simone Simons 表示：偏爱把它描述为 交响金属 。 而Mark Jansen 倒不是这么认为 他不介意别人把它称为 哥特金属 。

有人说他们音乐吸引人的地方在于光明与黑暗之间探索的。 音乐的节奏时而强烈时而轻柔 还穿插了极端的高低死腔(Mark jansen) ，还有编的管弦乐曲、 钢琴 等等 。 主唱Simone Simons 歌剧式的（可以说是美声的）唱法————无瑕疵的音调而不失感情。 所以唱法上就平衡了【所谓的天堂（Simone Simon）与地狱（Mark jansen)相结合】。 音乐中还有额外的修饰：融入了拉丁语、阿拉伯语————多样化。
可以说他们是众多这些乐队中的独鹰！！！ .
Epic45 is, was and always will be a home recording project/collective based round the ideas and inspiration of childhood friends Ben Holton and Rob Glover. As a ‘group’ epic45 has seen a few different lineups, as people come and go. Occasional forays into studios do occur from time to time, the first EP ‘Shorebound’ was mainly recorded in 1998 in a small, untidy studio in the attic of an old house in Rugeley! Since then 99% of recording has taken place in various homes as its found to be an overall more satisfying process.

Formed in Minneapolis Minnesota in early 2004, Epicurean began developing their musical vision. Setting out to mend together a European influenced sound, with a deeply progressive nature, while at the same time, keeping their sound accessible. Not long after, the group started to hit the road, beginning the relentless touring schedule the band is still known for.

Epic Score is a Los Angeles-based music production company owned by Gabriel Shadid and Tobias Marberger that concentrates on producing music geared towards trailers. We have recorded our own custom choirs, orchestras, percussion and many other elements to create our unique sound. Plus, we've been fortunate to work with a small team of wonderfully creative people.
