“SHINee” 是由泰民、珉豪、Key、 钟铉、温流这5名出道时还是15~19岁的初、高中生组成的引领当代流行的组合，即Contemporary Band，它是指在音乐、舞蹈、流行等所有领域提示和引领符合时代潮流的乐队组合，正如Contmporary Band组合名一般，今后“SHINee”将为大众献上他们独有的流行音乐，而且在舞蹈和潮流等领域也将带来崭新的Contemporary Band形象。
组合名“SHINee” 是将“Shine”一词与名词性词尾“ee”结合而成的新名词， 其意为“受到光芒照耀的人”，意味着经常接受聚光及镁光灯的人，还蕴涵着通过追求多样的音乐，不受到年龄和地区（国家）的限制，吸引更多音乐粉丝的“SHINee”人小鬼大的抱负。他们是以校服来成名的。当时，韩国举行了全国选秀，然后拍校服广告。不像往前的HOT,神话,东方神起，SJ他们那样，以清新的校服在演艺界开始立足。

韩国组合SHINee是曾培养出宝儿(BoA)、东方神起(TVXQ)、Super Junior、少女时代等亚洲超人气明星的韩国SM公司，于2008年5月推出的全新组合。组合成员由五个90后的男生所组成。SHINee是SM推出的一个名为Contemporary Band 的组合。Contemporary Band 意为从音乐，舞蹈以及服装各个方面都引领当代的流行的组合。相信今后SHINee不仅在音乐上，还将在舞蹈上和服装造型上都带给歌迷全新的感受。
组合名SHINee是 将“Shine”一词与名词性词尾“ee”拼在一起的原创词(ex: employ-employee) ，其意为“受到光芒照耀的人”， 有着要以多样的音乐，在不同年龄和不同国籍歌迷都受到喜爱的意思。
犹为值得一提的是成员泰民，只是一名中学生他是SM公司力推的舞王，才刚满14岁，小小年纪就拥有令人惊艳的舞蹈实力，因此倍受关注。
5月19日，SHINee首张Mini专辑 “ 姐姐真漂亮 ” 已经在SHINee的官方网站了公开了一部分的音乐，得到了不错的反应，因此，SHINee将会于5月25日在韩国的音乐节目献上他们的初舞台。

旋律硬摇滚乐队Shinedown来自Florida的Jacksonville，乐队成员由主唱 Brent Smith，吉他 Jasin Todd，贝司 Brad Stewart和鼓手Barry Kerch组成。2001年，Shinedown被曾签下当红乐团Nickelback的主流厂牌Atlantic签下，从此顺遂的音乐路程就此开始。
被Atlantic唱片抢签后说成是Creed和Nickelback的接班人。乐队在2003年的第一张专辑Leave a Whisper为乐队带来了不错的成绩，之后乐队在2004年的大部分时间里都在各地巡演然后发行了一张现场专辑。2005年发行了成绩不俗的新专辑Us and Them。
跟别的重摇滚乐队相比，他们的音乐靠的不是由高精度设备制造出来的重低音，而是靠熟练的节奏吉它手的Riff和主唱的高跨度音域嗓音天衣无缝的协调所产生的震撼音乐，这让两年后的今年夏天他们的第二张专辑us and them再度出现在排行榜上!第3首save me已经在主流摇滚排行榜上龙头的位置停留了很长时间了，让Foo Fighters的新歌也无法超越，shinedown能够出人头地全凭那股旋律摇滚的激情!

首张专辑“Leave A Whisper”全球销售超越150万并达到白金唱片的认证，单曲「Burning Bright」、遭MTV禁播的「45」双双登上告示牌前五名，隔两年拿到Billboard 200专辑榜No. 23的“Us And Them”专辑同样大受欢迎，，「Save Me」、「I Dare You」分别被美国职业摔角WWE选用为赛程主题曲，这两首单曲同时也在告示牌现代摇滚榜拿走冠、亚军的名次，后者更被第五季选秀节目American Idol前四强参赛者Chris Daughtry作为参赛曲（现也以Daughtry组团出专辑），Shinedown因此为自己创造了两张口碑之作。

KC and the Sunshine Band is an American musical group. Founded in 1973, their style has included funk, R&B, and disco. Their most well known songs include the disco hits That's the Way (I Like It), (Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty, I'm Your Boogie Man, Keep It Comin' Love, Get Down Tonight, Give It Up, and Please Don't Go. They took their name from Wayne Casey's last name ("KC") and the "Sunshine Band" from KC's home state of Florida ('The Sunshine State').

K-Dub Shine (Real Name, Kouta Kagami was born and raised in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan). Waking up to hip-hop in his teens during his 8 year stay in America in 1988, K-Dub drew inspiration from his idols KRS-ONE, Chuck D, Rakim, Run-D.M.C. among others and picked up his pen which changed his life around completely. Coming from a close to poor home combined with his juvenile delinquent nature in his teens, hip-hop worked more or less as an escape from the alternative street life for Dub and before long in 1988 he wrote his first rhymes on the paper in japanese...
There are at least 9 bands who go by the name Moonshine.
1) Underground hiphop group consisting of Able Body, Vesuvio and Zinn. Their only album under the Moonshine moniker, "Weep No More", was released in 1996 on Arcane Records. Later on the group became known as The Anonymous.
