The Questions | tr

Kill the Man Who Questions was a punk rock band from Philadelphia, PA (USA). The group played its first show in October 1996 and its final show about 20 blocks east in 2002, having released a full-length album and several seven-inches, touring the U.S. and Europe in between. Mike and Andrew went on to form Amateur Party after KTMWQ's breakup. Jeremy played drums in Jai Alai Savant. Andrew had formerly played guitar in DisSucks, and also played bass in Limp Wrist. .
Eschewing the typical wave-calm-wave pattern of instrumental rock, QiD's songs erect cascades of affected melodies over dubby bass textures and cataclysmic drum fills. Often moving into free-form improvisation during live shows, visuals are spontaneously created by the instruments themselves. The sound has evolved by incorporating electronics and new composition methods, even moving into avant-garde territory, but is still filtered through a subjective post-rock lense. .
The Questions (not to be confused with the Los Angeles, California group The Question) was a power pop band from Glasgow, Scotland. It was made up of Paul Barry (bass/vocals), Stephen Lennon (guitar), Tom Robinson (guitar), and Chris Kowalski (drums). The group opened for The Jam and was signed to The Jam frontman Paul Weller's label 'Respond'. They were active from 1978 to 1985, releasing a lone album-- 'Belief'-- in 1984. "The Questions" was also the name of an Australian pop-rock group of the 1960s. .
There are multiple artists called Any Questions? 1. A dark electro/EBM act associated with Floating Fish Studios. 2. A one-off project of the Spanish producer DJ Sammy, and German producers Caba Kroll & Henning Reith. The single Living On A Fantasy was released in 1994 and enjoyed modest success. .
