THE EFFECTION was a Mod / Punk trio from Oakland ( California ) comprised of former members of such Bay Area acts as LIMP and DANCE HALL CRASHERS and Providence ( Rhode Islands ) pop-punk outfit, WATERDOG. THE EFFECTION (Billy, Scott and Chris) have produced a gem of a power-pop album.
