The Backlash is a Belgian two-man electro-punk-house project manned by veteran DJ Eric "Powa" B. and relative newcomer Julian K. After releasing some EP's in 2003-2004, their first full-length "Serial Cleaner" was released end 2005 on Surprise Records, a sublabel of Lowlands. .

There are more than one band with the name Backlash. 1) Backlash from New Jersey were formed in 1991, the band recorded and released a demo, two 7"s and a 12" and played over 300 shows.
