David Styles (born November 28, 1974), better known as Styles P, is an American rapper. He was born to a Jamaican father and a South African mother. He is a member of Hip Hop group D-Block, which includes Jadakiss and Sheek Louch. He is known primarily for the hardcore lyrics and powerful messages in his music. Singer/songwriter Martin Breeze started his musical education growing up in Adelaide, South Australia listening to his parents’ diverse musical tastes. It was anything from Blood, Sweat and Tears to Willie Nelson and Frank Sinatra. In 1990 he studied improvised music at Adelaide University that leaned heavily towards bebop. He played with a number of jazz groups whilst studying such as the ‘Angry Penguins’ and more notably ‘Hothouse’ with tenor saxophonist Andy Sugg.
