Radiation Sickness was formed in Indianapolis, IN in 1987 by Doug Palmer and Ryan Rollins. The band was formed mainly on addiction, depression and the love for extreme underground music. While many people seem to not even give Indiana a glance when it to came to extreme grind metal Radiation Sickness started making noise in the underground. The bands first guitar player soon left and Rick Callaway joined in. Soon after Mike Herald was added on drums due to his blast beat abilities and double kick skills. Sickness of Snakes was a one-off collaboration between Boyd Rice, John Balance and Peter Christopherson (Coil) Their only release was "Nightmare Culture", originally released in 1985 as a 12" split vinyl with Current 93. The first pressing was limited to 5000 copies with a seal on the cover. The second pressing came out in 1988. The three Sickness of Snakes songs were later released on the Coil compilation "Unnatural History". In 2011, Boyd Rice prepared a limited re-issue of the three Sickness of Snakes tracks on CD and a single-sided 12" vinyl, which was finally released in January 2013. .
Motion Sickness of Time Travel is the solo moniker of Georgia, United States's Rachel Evans, formed in 2008. She has accumulated more than 30 solo releases under the name Motion Sickness of Time Travel on a variety of record, CD and cassette tape labels.
