Parveen Sultana (b. 1950) is a Assamese Hindustani classical singer of the Patiala Gharana. Begum Parween Sultana was influenced early on in Iife by her father late Janab Ihramul Majid, a popular musician trained under Gul Mohammed Khan and Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan, and by her Grandfather Janab Mohammed Najeef Khan, a talented Rabab Player. Sultana Amerika'da yaşayan bir Türk kızı. Daha önce San Fransisco'da yaşamış olan Sultana daha sonra New York'a yerleşmiş. Burada uzun çalışmalar sonucunda "Çerkez Kızı" adlı albümünü tamamladı. Albüm Türkiye'de Doublemoon etiketiyle çıktı. Amerika'da birçok barda rap yapmış. İlk profesyonel sahne performansını Parliament Jazz festivalinde Burhan Öcal ve Jamaladeen Tacuma ile sergiledi.
