İbrahim Tatlıses (d. 1952 Şanlıurfa) Söz sanatçısı, türkücü, müzik yapımcısı, sinema oyuncusu. Lakabı İbo ve İmparator
1 Ocak 1952 tarihinde Şanlıurfa'da doğmuştur. Tatlıses olmadan önceki soyadı Tatlı'ydı. Yedi çocuklu kalabalık ve fakir bir ailenin çocuğuydu. İnşaatlarda soğuk demir ustası olarak çalıştı. Adanalı bir sinemacının, inşaatta sesini duymasıyla birlikte önce Adana'da ardından Ankara'da çeşitli gazinolarda sahneye çıktı. 1977 yılında çıkardığı "Ayağında Kundura" adlı plakla tüm Türkiye'ye sesini duyurdu.
Ardından "Sabuha", "Dom Dom Kurşunu", "Bir Mumdur" gibi türküleriyle ününü pekiştirdi. "Allah Allah", "Kara Zindan", "İnsanlar" ve "Fosforlu Cevriyem" gibi albümlerinin satışı milyonları aştı.

Abdullah Ibrahim (born 1934, Cape Town, South Africa), formerly known as Adolph Johannes Brand, and as Dollar Brand (from a popular brand of cigarettes), is a South African pianist and composer. His music reflects many of the musical influences of his childhood in the multicultural port areas of Cape Town, ranging from traditional African songs to the gospel of the AME Church and ragas, to more modern jazz and other Western styles. He first received piano lessons at the age of seven, was an avid consumer of jazz records brought by American sailors, and was playing jazz professionally by 1949....
