Alien Ant Farm, ortak bir kariyere sahip olan dört arkadaş tarafından 1996’da kuruldu. Grubun kadrosu, gitarda Terry Corso, vokalde Dryden Mitchell, davullarda Mike Cosgrove, ve basta Tye Zamora’dan oluşuyor. "Alien Ant Farm" ismi, Corso’nun hayallerinden birinin sonucudur. Alien Crime Syndicate (1997–2005) were an American alternative rock group formed by Joe Reineke in San Francisco, California before relocating to Seattle, Washington after the collapse of his previous band The Meices. The group's main lineup consisted of Reineke, bassist Jeff Rouse (Rhino Humpers) and Nabil Ayers with a number of guitarists, Jason Krevey, Mike Squires and Mike Davis, contributing and performing with the band over the years. ALIEN ALIEN is the combination of two romantic Romans: RODION the casiocore space funker (Gomma, Eskimo, Bang Gang) and HUGO SANCHEZ (the DJ of one-thousand-and-one bizarre parties, also founder of the radiodd.com netlabel). Together, in Rome, they gave life to the Roccodisco label. Their cosmopop anthem Roygbiv, an obscure Boards of Canada cover, has been featured in the first Roccodisco split release, in Summer 2008.
