The Windowsill from the Netherlands is Marien Nicotine's new band after leaving the Apers in 2007. He asked his old bandbuddies Ivo Backbreaker and Jerry Hormone to help him out. They are expected to release a full length record in 2011 Obvious influences are Ramones and Screeching Weasel, but also Tom Petty and Fountains of Wayne .

Tinted Windows is an American power pop band that consists of Taylor Hanson (Hanson), James Iha (A Perfect Circle, formerly with The Smashing Pumpkins), Adam Schlesinger (Fountains of Wayne, Ivy) and Bun E. Carlos (Cheap Trick). It's a side project for all four band members. Their debut self-titled album was released on April 21, 2009.
