The Overtones are a five-piece British-Irish doo-wop boy band from London, formed in 2010. They were discovered by a Warner Brothers talent scout while working as decorators in a shop near Oxford Street, singing during their tea break. Their debut album Good Ol' Fashioned Love entered the UK album chart at number 40 on its release on November 1, following 5,371 sales in its first week. .

Formed in Portland ME, in the early 90's, the Rustic Overtones gained popularity with funky horn-infused jams and a rock solid, rock-ready style. In their 9 years together, the band gained a passionate following with their high energy live set, tirelessly touring college campuses and local clubs up and down the east coast, sometimes playing close to 200 shows a year. Their last show, a career spanning two and a half hour set, closed out the Overtone era at the State Theater in Portland on May 11, 2002.
