Hedgehog Pie were at the fore-front of the electric folk movement, weaving jazz and rock grooves into their arrangements of traditional and self-composed songs and tunes. Their studio albums always topped the Folk Album charts of the day, and they toured with the likes of John Martyn, Richard Thompson and as headliners throughout the 70s. From their first release in 1974 to their demise was a very short but intensely creative six years.
