Disco 2000 were a British pop band from London, England, notable as a side project of The KLF. Vocal duties were handled by Cressida Cauty (wife of KLF co-founder Jimmy Cauty) and June Montana aka Mo (former vocalist of Jimmy Cauty's previous band Brilliant). Between 1987 and 1989, Disco 2000 released three singles on the KLF Communications label, none of which entered the top 75 of the UK Singles Chart. .
Broadcast Sea is a Texas-based rock band that began in June of 2005. Featuring the talents of vocalist/guitarist Sterling Cash, guitarist Calvin Sprague, bassist Scott Addison, and drummer Ryan Sprague, the band has carved out their own niche with music that doesn't always fall into an easily classifiable genre. With a punk rock ethic and influences as varied as June of '44 and Shiner to Isis, this quartet takes you on a journey from aggressive and epic to catchy and melodic. Broadcast 2000 sees Joe Steer combine cello, double bass, guitar, ukulele, glockenspiel, banjo, percussion and his own layered vocals to create unique sounding mini symphonies, all written and recorded in the bedroom of his north London flat. As a live band Steer is joined by various musicians including Tom Andrews (glockenspiel), Chris Banner (percussion), Pedro Del Battenberg (percussion), Louise Golbey (harmony vocals), Greg Cordez (double bass), Kelly Underdown (violin), Jade Brightwell (violin) and Alex Eichenberger (cello). .
