The Honeycutters are an alternative country band based out of Asheville, North Carolina. The band is led by Amanda Anne Platt and guitarist Peter James. .

This is a name for multiple bands: The Cutters (1) a Houston punk rock band founded by Geo White (The Points) including members of Davy Crockett (Jon, Organ), Talk Sick Brats (Bryan, Drums), Cop Warmth (Mark, Guitar) and Muhammadali (Jeff, Bass). Their debut album 'Luthers' was released through Dischord Records and it sticks to the basics: chicks, shit that sucks, drugs, and apathy. It's an ass-kicking debut. (2) Danish emo-rock band, consists of Søren Balsby (of the danish Carpe Diem and The Thindies) and Alex Rode, the band has so far, only recorded one song called "18" - The Cutters...

Survival is hard. You’ve got to do something to survive. CUTTERS was born out of that idea. The idea that you’re more than the chunks of you that life poisons. The idea that the only way to reclaim some small semblance of yourself is to actually d o s o m e t h i n g. Because we want to survive. It’s why we pack ourselves into vans and travel to strangers basements. It’s why we spend our last few dollars on someone else rather than ourselves.
