Ever since they formed as a group these guys are on a mission of pushing forward the techno sound in Serbia . The DJ's behind Concrete Djz became involved with electronic music around the year 2000. One thing led to another and in 2003, as residents of Club Akademija,the idea came to create a group now known as the Concrete Djz.
They have been responsible for numerous organized parties in Belgrade and their sound could have been heard on events and locations like EXIT festival Serbia, Ovo je Moj Grad MTV festival Serbia, Stay Up Forever London, The Clinic North...
Concrete Jungle was born in 1991 out of a jam-session, at which the love for jamaican rhythms soon evoked the desire to play regularly as a band. From the beginning there was the ideal to develop an own approach. Thus was born Urban Roots Reggae: groovy, sensual and melodious music that maintains the connection to Rootmusic Roots Music of the seventies and eighties.
In 1995 the band recorded their debut-CD Born & Bred, and in 2000 their second CD Fresh Soul Food. After releasing further tracks on various Collections, Concrete Jungle celebrated the release of their third Album Roots United...
The Arrivals are a four piece from Blue Island, Illinois, Southside of Chicago. They write songs about everything and nothing, sometimes all at once. They sound like Mission of Burma trying to write Kinks songs, though most people have their own f-ed up description that may be just as valid. They've toured with Dillinger Four(with whom they now share a bass player), The Soviettes, Toys That Kill, Rise Against, Tiltwheel, Vena Cava, Grabass Charlestons, and The Lawrence Arms. They're now on Recess Records. New CD/LP coming in early 2007. .

1) Secret Rivals are a four-piece indie pop band based in Oxford, United Kingdom. Their split boy-girl vocals sing of fall-outs, secrets and despair, with hope and longing to put things right. Musically influenced by the sharp edges of The Cribs, Idlewild, Pixies and The Wedding Present, they produce a sound which has been described as 80s-synth-infused lo-fi indie punk-pop in the mould of The Cure and Los Campesinos with vocals likened to riot grrrl bands, Bis and Huggy Bear.
