Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Spiculum Iratus is a black metal band formed in 2005, the band's last known line-up consists of: Os Miserum as vocalist, Nox Timor (formerly drums) and Vermiis as guitarists, Entity Savnok as bassist and Infidelis as drummer. The band plays extremely brutal and chaotic black metal with heavy atmosphere and merciless aggression. Their first record was a split with "Bestial Incarnation" named "Monuments of Decimation" which was released in August 2007. On 2nd June 2009, they released their first full-length album called "Summa Anti-Theologica" under Baneful Genesis Records. .
