The Joe Locke / Geoffrey Keezer Group The unique combination of vibraphone and piano creates a space much larger than the sum of its parts -- one in which these two brilliant improvisers and clever accompanists can really get down to work. When Locke lays down the full, ringing tones of his vibraphone, Keezer takes off at full throttle; and when Keezer's sophisticated spatial sense launches chords, Locke works his four mallets with fiery skill. Even when navigating tricky chord progressions at rocket speeds, they never lose their deep sense of swing. .
Geoffrey Keezer was born in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, USA on November 20, 1970. Born into a musical family, with both parents teaching music, he began studying piano at the age of three. In 1989, at the age of 18, after completing his first year at the Berklee College of Music, Geoffrey joined Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers. Since then, Geoffrey has worked with virtually all of the living legends of jazz and has appeared on countless recordings both as a leader and as an accompanist. His professional career has spanned many projects and genres. In 1992 Geoffrey performed Gershwin's "Rhapsody In...
Genuine Oi! played with utter conviction by four fat, old Yorkshiremen calling themselves W.C. disGrace, Freddy Skintoft, Spike Gatting and Devon Malcolm McClaren Add to this the lyrics which cover such universal topics as the spouses of the bands favourite darts players (‘Darts Players Wives’), northern pride (‘Welcome To Yorkshire’), girls (‘Dawn Of The Dickie Birds’), the spirit of Oi! itself (‘Oi!Oi!Oi!Oi!’) and of course cricket (‘LBW’, ‘Get Padded Up Mate’) and you are basically looking at a mini modern classic. .

He is best remembered as a music director of the D'Oyly Carte Opera Company and for his association with Sadler's Wells Theatre. One of his ballets, The Haunted Ballroom (1934), became popular and was revived several times, and the new overture that he prepared for Gilbert and Sullivan's Ruddigore in 1919 became the standard...
Hi! Geoffrey Castle here. I play six-string electric violin in most of my live shows, but in the studio I still love the sound of a 100 year old violin being played into a $9,000 microphone. My web site is www.GeoffreyCastle.com and all my current releases are available for purchase there! I think Underhill's Angel is quite possibly the best thing I've ever done. So it's a holiday CD. Got a problem with that? Mist on the Mountain was recorded using loop samplers live in the studio. Each track is done in one take. I thought it would be...
