Young the Giant are an American alternative rock band who formed in Irvine, California in 2004. The band consists of Sameer Gadhia (vocals, percussion), Jacob Tilley (guitar), Eric Cannata (guitar), Payam Doostzadeh (bass) and François Comtois (drums). Prior to creating Young Love, Dan Keyes fronted the Austin, TX post-grunge band Recover. After releasing three albums with the quartet, Keyes felt the need for change.
