Skitsoy is an alternative rock band consisting of Franky Desmet-Vandamme a.k.a. DSVD (formerly of Channel Zero), Peter Fizgal (formerly Sweater, Luc Van Acker and Guy Swinnen), Yannick Uyttenhove (formerly Novastar) and Iwan Wijnen. The music is fueled by DSVD's powerful voice, often compared to Chris Cornell, combined with heavy bass-driven riffs. .
Formed in Petersburg, Virginia in the early 90's, Ill Biskits released thier 1st single on Indie NYC label Khari Entertainment in 1994. The single, "God Bless Your Life" contains the rare and much sought after B-Side track "22 Years", which was produced by none other than, Hip-Hop legend Lord Finesse. Akitsa is a black metal band from Montréal, Quebec. They now consist of two members. They released the short demo "Totale Servitude" in 1999, which was more of an experiment in various black metal sounds. They pulled it together in 2002 for their first album "Goétie", which was raw black metal with RAC and even punk/oi influence. The lyrical themes are generally about Quebec nationalism and its History, nature and misanthropy among others. .
