The band’s main influences are varied: Steve Reich for his simplicity, the mind-blowing rock of Pink Floyd or the experimentations of Radiohead...The band is always interested in discovering artists from different musical horizons. Long and ethereal as well as dream-like atmospheres are characteristic of THE SPHERICAL MINDS. Spherical Objects were a Manchester post-punk band formed by Steve Solamar in 1978. They released four albums on their own Object label before Solamar split the band in order to achieve his ambition of becoming a woman. Paul Morley called their music "existentialist psychedelia". .
