Crayon Pop (크레용팝) is a South Korean girl group which debuted in 2012. The five members are Gum Mi, So Yul, Cho A, Ellin and Way. The group hopes to take South Korea and Japan by storm with their quirky style.

Crayon was an indiepop band from Washington state featuring Brad Roberts (guitar/vocals), Sean Tollefson (bass/vocals) and Jeff Fell (drums).
Crayon formed in 1990 in Bellingham, Washington, which is about 90 miles north of Seattle. A bit more punk than twee, Crayon were obviously influenced by bands like Beat Happening and The Modern Lovers. They sounded something like a mini-Nirvana minus the anger. They were cute, but they weren’t cutesy. In the four years they were together, they released a handful of 7" singles and one full length album. White Sister was one of those bands that never quite achieved the success it deserved. Despite being signed to a major label, working with a well-known producer and writing songs that bettered their more well-known peers on more than one occasion, vocalist/bassist Dennis Churchill-Dries and company struggled to keep their heads above water throughout most of the Eighties.

Soulsister is a Belgian music band consisting of musicians Jan Leyers and Paul Michiels. SoulSister (also known as the Soul Sisters and Leyers, Michiels, and SoulSister) ran from 1986 until 1995 and performed a mix of pop and soul. They will reunite at The Night of the Proms in 2007.
Jan Leyers had previous experience in the rock group Beri-Beri, while Paul had experience in the British-Belgian rock group Octopus and as a solo artist.

Sister Hazel formed in Gainesville, Florida in 1994 and was named for Sister Hazel Williams, a local nun who ran a homeless shelter. The group released its self-titled debut album in 1994 through its independent record label, Croakin' Poets and shortly after its release, singer/guitarist Ryan Newell and drummer Mark Trojanowski joined the band. Newell played on the album before officially joining the group.
