Silke Bischoff was a three piece from Germany. They take their name from that of a hostage killed in the 'Gladbecker Geiseldrama' in 1988. After a dispute with 'third member' Axel, they are now a duo called '18 summers'. .

Silke lives in New Zealand and is learning to play the ukulele. Somewhere on the way she ended up performing live weekly on radio 95bFM's Friday Drive show with A.D.A.M. She usually covers other people's songs. .
