Sicko was a three piece pop punk band from Seattle, Washington. After releasing several albums on Empty Records they disbanded in 1998. Many of their short catchy songs dealt with geekier topics like computers, Carl Sagan, old Japanese cartoons or the life of the "Dateless Loser". The cd "A Brief History of Sicko" was released on Mutant Pop and contains a total of 18 previously unearthed tracks, including a couple outstanding covers of R.E.M. and Van Halen, additionally (most of) their final concert is documented. .
