The music project The Ergot was born in 2008 from an idea of Ale (drums), Clo (bass guitar) and Diego (guitar), based on a doom death metal with a strong melodic component. From July of the same year, Joseph (guitar) came in the band, and only in January 2009 the vocalist Eddie completes the band.
