Boys Like Girls is a pop rock/power pop band that formed in Andover, Massachusetts, United States in 2005. Melike is the name of a rising vocalist from Turkey who is currently based in Ghent, Belgium. Melike Tarhan grew up listening to the classical turkish, studied Eastern and Western singing techniques and has established a group with her Iraqi husband Osama Abdulraso.
