JUDY AND MARY were a Japanese multi-genre band known for their innovative punk, rock, and pop meldings of noisy but melodic music in the 1990's. They formed in 1992 when bassist Yoshihito Onda (jp: 恩田快人) met vocalist Yuki Isoya (磯谷有希) in Hakodate, Hokkaido. Much later drummer Kohta Igarashi(五十嵐公太) and guitarist Takuya Asanuma (浅沼拓也) were added to round out the group.
In 1992 they released their first indie album, Be Ambitious, with an accompanying video on Chainsaw Records. They were picked up by Epic/Sony Records and released their first major label single, Power of Love in 1993. Their first debut major...
Goo Goo Dolls is an alternative rock band formed in 1985 in Buffalo, New York, USA by guitarist/vocalist John Rzeznik and bassist/vocalist Robby Takac initially under the name the Sex Maggots (the new name was chosen from an ad in True Detective magazine at the behest of a local club owner). They are most famous for the hit "Iris", featured on the soundtrack to the 1998 film City of Angels. Crazy Dolls is an alternative, synthpop and pop rock duo from Rīga, Latvia formed as electronic and punk rock trio around 1995 and during time have changed their musical flow.
They have released two full length albums till split up in 2000. Latest of them LP Sveiciens published on Mapls in 2001 includes song Milžu cīņa of legendary Latvian band Dzeltenie Pastnieki. Some previous tracks are also included in local independent compilations.
In January 2010 they announced their reunite.
