Driven by brothers Jake and Pete Adams, Valkyrie draws from pre-metal style to create a rich and earthy heavy rock sound. They formed in summer 2002 in Rockbridge County, Virginia as a three-piece consisting of vocalist/guitarist Jake Adams, bassist Eric Seaman, and drummer Luke Shafer. Hildr Valkyrie is a one woman band coming from Hellas. Started in 2003 and exists till nowadays. H.V. has not many releases herself, but has done a lot of collaborations with many bands worldwide. H.V. also is a member of Folkearth (from the second album) and Folkodia.

Valkyrien Allstars er en ung folkemusikkgruppe bestående av Tuva Livsdatter Syvertsen, Ola Hilmen og Erik Sollid. Deres hovedinstrument er hardingfele med tillegg av sang - med Tuva som ledende vokal. Alle 3 begynte sin musikalske løpebane som barn. Gjennom oppdagelsen av samspillets unike muligheter startet de sin egen gruppe i 2002. Med bakgrunn fra Asker, Valdres og Bærum var det spelemannen , plateprodusenten og Vossingen Hallvard Kvåle som inspirerte dem til å finne en felles plattform. Der kunne de forme sin egenart og søke drivkraft til å nå stadig nye musikalske høyder.
