Kruko was born in Belgrade, Serbia in 1982. He’s been playing with music since he was a kid, making music on trackers with his older brother. Inspired by the sounds of endlessly looping rusty factory machines, acid rain washed dystopian future, abandoned concrete halls, complex technologies, cyborgs, androids and replicants, hundred ton mechas, cyberpunk, neon Japanese cities and barren apocalyptic wastelands. His works are populated with digital artefacts, and bear the darkness of moments distant in time. SKRUK is, with its characteristic sound and repertoire, recognized as one of the leading choirs in Norway. During the past 30 years its members have toured Norway regurarly, giving concerts in hundreds of churches throughout the country, and performed at Norway’s most important music festivals. The choir has frequently appeared on national TV , and its recordings are regularly played on Norwegian radio stations. SKRUK has also been on tours in Sweden, USA, Ecuador and Azerbaijan. Carnavalsvereniging De Krukskes (http://www.krukskes.nl) uit ’s-Hertogenbosch (Oeteldonk) is opgericht op 17 mei 1981 door een stel muzikale vrienden, die vaak samen op stap gingen. Het motto werd carnaval vieren in de ruimste zin van het woord, waarbij als belangrijkste doel werd gesteld zichzelf en anderen te vermaken door het maken van lekkere muziek. Inmiddels zijn De Krukskes uitgegroeid tot een “toon”aangevende vereniging met het accent op muzikale gezelligheid en met name in Oeteldonk zijn zij een begrip in de carnavalswereld.
