Vyper are a forgotten mid-80's band that was typical of the genre, lots of harmonies and killer guitar solos. They had a sound that was similar to a cross between London and the glossiness of the Queen City Kids. Formed in Kansas City, Missouri by Christy Black (vocals, and despite the name, a male), Jacky Foxx (guitar), Robbie Saint (guitar), Rik Brock (bass) and Michael Scott (drums). Axevyper were a heavy metal from Italy that formed in 2009. They are influenced by Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Manilla Road, Running Wild and Shok Paris. Their lyrical themes include metal, battles, anti-poser war and honor. They released one split, one demo, one EP and three full-length albums. Bassist Andrea "Pandò" Tognetti left the band and that lead to the end of Axevyper. They disbanded in 2018.
