Described variously as "a cross between Elvis Costello and Tom Petty," "a pop stylist, with a quick lyrical wit and a card shark's finesse in delivering a hook" and "Norman Rockwell with a Telecaster," Chapel Hill, NC based songwriter Django Haskins makes mongrel American music. Django has recorded with producers Don Fleming (Sonic Youth, Pete Yorn) and John Plymale (Squirrel Nut Zippers), has had his music featured on MTV's 'Real World' and WB's 'Felicity', and received rave reviews in Billboard, CMJ, and many other publications, but it's in the live shows where the music really comes alive, thanks to good...
Fuzzy Lights were formed in 2004, and it has been a long journey since the release of their near-instrumental debut album 'A Distant Voice'. In 2010 they released their second album, 'Twin Feathers', weaving together elements of pastoral psych-folk and noise-rock. The album received critical acclaim, being named 'Underground Album of the Month' in Mojo and receiving 4 out of 5 stars reviews in Uncut and Artrocker. Several tracks from the record featured across BBC 6Music shows, and the same year they played at the End of The Road Festival. In 2011, they retreated to write new songs, and the...

After recruiting bassist Winston Braman (Come) and drummer David Ryan (Lemonheads), the four-piece released their eponymous debut, Fuzzy, in 1994 which attracted attention thanks to its catchy lead single Flashlight. In 1996 they released the follow-up Electric Juices but despite positive reviews were dropped by...
This is one of the many harder-edged and organ dominated progressive bands that emerged in the early Seventies. Unfortunately very little is known about FUZZY DUCK’s history. The musicians were Paul Francis (drums, percussion), Mick (Doc) Hawksworth (bass, vocals, acoustic 12-string, electric cello), Roy (Daze) Sharland (organ, electric piano) and Grahame White (guitar, vocals, acoustic guitar). The eponymous album from 1971 was released on CD by both the German Repertoire Records and the UK Aftermath Records. FUZZY DUCK’s music is simple but it touches me very much: pleasant vocals, a tight rhythm-section, strong guitarwork and, the most delightful element, floods...
