Saattue - meaning procession in Finnish - started their journey in 2001. The band released their first self-financed EP "Kivisydän" in 2004 and it's follow up EP release "Ikiuneen" in 2006. In 2007 the band got signed by Spikefarm Records, who released Saattue's debut album "Jäähyvästi” in January 2008. Ismo Alanko Säätiö was a Finnish rock group formed in 1997 led by Ismo Alanko. The band featured an ever-changing lineup of musicians and can be considered an extension of Alanko's solo career. The band's name is Finnish for "Ismo Alanko Foundation". Early Säätiö's sound was influenced by folk music and featured Kimmo Pohjonen's accordion in a prominent role.
