Dady Mimbo has been a professional musician since 1980 and is an author, composer and interpreter. His main instruments are the battery, the bass and various African percussion instruments. His passion for djembé, which he learned how to play as an autodidact, came to him while listening to Adama Dramé. The Dady Brothers are an Irish folk band based out of the Rochester, NY area, comprised solely of brothers John and Joe Dady. They are locally famous for their engaging live shows as well as their yearly tours to Ireland.
