Piney Gir (pronounced as in "girl"; real name Angela Penhaligon) is a female American musician and singer, born in Kansas and now based in London, England. The Weather Machines was the songwriting/recording vehicle of Jason Ward that was active in Rapid City, SD and Portland, OR from 2004-2010. Live and studio contributors included Sam Phillips, Oliver Francis, Tom Miller, Ali DeMersseman, Miyo One Arrow, J. Waylon Miller, Patrick Fleming and Luke Mickelson.
