Ambient was formed in early 2007, featuring Babi Kenya on vocals, Diogo Siqueira and Gregui Vine on guitars, Miha Tsapatsis on bass and Rui Fernandes on drums. The band is formed through the ideas and tastes in common with everyone willing to create a new style of rock, from influences that are mixed with the natural style of band and its members. David McAlmont is most famous as part of the duo McAlmont and Butler who's hit 'Yes' reached the UK top 10. David's career in music pre-dated this hit by a number of years. First he was part of the 'indie' band 'Thieves' another duo consisting of McAlmont and Saul Freeman. Moscow band Calmed By The Tides Of Rain (CBTTOR) has been formed by Artyom (vocals) and Alexander (drums: Violent Coldness) in the summer 2008 and rapidly began searching for other musicians. Originally the band planned to play downtempo metal/hardcore in vein of Suffokate, Emmure, The Acacia Strain, concentrating on brutal vocals and groovy basis. The Ambient Temple of Imagination is an open collective dedicated to activating the world's imagination through experimentation. Part ambient-trance group, part holistic listening-music healers, ATOI's Mystery School project was founded in 1992 by Richard Sun and Seofon in San Francisco as they pioneered chill-out sound environments for raves around the area. With introspective chill spaces, ritual performance art, and spoken-word poetry, ATOI focused on the public ceremonial exploration of magick and sound.
