Her Blackened Rose was set up in early 2007 as a progression from Clare Webster's earlier project known as 'Rain Child'. Her Blackened Rose was progression, a step forward, in many things including; style, recording quaility, vocal techniques and improvements in songwriting and composition. Begun in 2004 as a one-man side-project, has undergone many lineup changes over the past. Back to a one-man project, Splattered Entrails has established its name in the game as a project of Mike O'Hara (Malodorous & Cordectomy) that allows him to record whatever death metal is on his mind outside of Malodorous or Cordectomy. The inclusion of a drum machine allows for the never-ending possibilities of punishing death metal, however, always allowing the utter brutality to seep through. By the end of 2013 it’s formed the band Blackened, initially composed by Joao Wegher, Ulisses Nathan, Marcelo Martins and Fernando Schwartz, in Curitiba/Brazil. Right after the beginning of the activities, it was recorded the demo “Third World Thrash”, followed by the split with the local hardcore band Emergencia, called “Together in the cycle pit”. After some concerts in the city, the band decided to record its first EP, “Underground Attack”, which took the band to other cities around Brazil.
