Martin Stimming is an eletronic producer from Hamburg who records mostly for the hometown Diynamic imprint In 2008 he collaborated with Einmusik on the 'Mesdames EP', which included the track 'Madleine' with H.O.S.H. on the 'Trilogy EP' from where 'Radar' was taken from. The same year he released 'Una Pena' that samples Chilean folk singer Violetta Parra. Stimela is a South African Afro-fusion band, founded during the 1970s by Ray Phiri, a self-taught guitarist. The band was formed when Phiri got together with drummer Isaac Mtshali, Thabo Lloyd Lelosa and Jabu Sibumbe, and they initially call themselves the Cannibals. The band started out as instrumentalists, but it later evolved to Afro-fusion when they joined forces with vocalist Jacob "Mparanyana" Radebe in 1975, continuing to work together for four years. Barbara Pittman (April 6, 1938 – October 29, 2005) was an American rockabilly singer, one of the few female singers to record at Sun Studio. As a young teenager she recorded some demos of songs for others. Pittman's most popular recordings include "I Need A Man" on the Sun label and "Two Young Fools In Love", released on Sam Phillips' International label. It is thought that she could have had much more success except that she did not receive much promotion. The families of Elvis Presley and Barbara Pittman were friends.
