Eddie Santiago (born August 18, 1955) is a salsa singer from Puerto Rico. At a young age, Eddie demonstrated great love and talent for salsa music. He performed with several groups, including Generación 2000, Orquesta La Potente, Orquesta Opus, and the Orquesta Saragüey. According to the band's official website Catastrophe Ballet was formed in 1989 by Eric Burton in Bitburg, Germany. In 1991 the first album "Monologues of the Past and the Future" was released from the band's own label (Etage Records) followed by touring along side acts such as Shadow Project, Mephisto Walz, and Faith & The Muse. Santiago Salazar aka DJ S² started dj'ing in 1992. Being sparked by mix tapes his brother was bringing back from the Gay underground scene in Los Angeles. Santiago got his first break at a afterhours club called 'The Beverly Room' dj'ing from Midnight til' 5:00am. He soon became an underground favorite of the Gay house scene.
