There are two bands by this name: 1) Aerials is an ambient alternative band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Built on melodies and wide soundscapes, Aerials draws inspiration from many different places. Aerials is built around the 24 year old swedish musician Christoffer Franzén. In the fall of 2011, he started to spend nights alone in the studio, learning about the different ways of recording and creating music. With no one else there with him, he was forced to pick up all the different kinds of instruments that he felt he needed himself. Songs started to emerge during these late night sessions,...

Aerials Up: a mind blowing seven-piece band from Glasgow, who formed in 2009. UK post-punk/synth act Aerial FX released one full length album, 1982's Watching the Dance and three 7'' releases 1980's So Hard, 1981's Take It From Here and 1982's Instant Feelings. Members Chris Hufford and Bryce Edge caught wind of the band Radiohead at the beginning of there career, arguably the biggest band in the world through various demo tapes, liked what they heard, and got in touch. They still manage Radiohead to this day... That said, it's a shame their own outfit didn't turn more heads during their tenure. .
