Название «Celldweller» унаследовано от более раннего проекта Клейтона Brainchild. На альбоме Metamorphosis один из треков имеет название «Helldweller». После выхода альбома друзья музыканта подшучивали над весьма необычным количеством времени, которое он проводил в студии, называя его Cell Dweller (cell — англ. камера, dweller — англ. житель; celldweller — житель камеры, узник, заключённый)....

Sea Dweller is an unsigned shoegaze/dreampop band, lost into noise music and daydreaming psychedelic escapes. Dwellers features Iota (Small Stone Records) song writer/guitarist/vocalist Joey Toscano, and Subrosa (Profound Lore) drummer and bassist Zach Hatsis and Dave Jones. The band originally started as a duo between Hatsis and Toscano, who self-released a 3 song EP in 2009. A year later, they added Jones on bass, and began writing and performing material for a full length LP.
