Ticon это Filip Mardberg и Fredrik Gilenholt. История их отношений с электронной музыкой уходит глубоко в начало 90х годов, именно тогда ребята открыли для себя андэграундные вечеринки.
У обоих был богатый музыкальный бэкграунд и в 1995 году ребята написали свой первый трэк на компьютере дома у Фредерика. Они довольно долго писали «в стол» но ими заинтересовался, молодой шведский лэйбл Digital Structures и в 1999 году купил у них первые трэки и подписал с ними контракт на альбом.
