Magical Power Mako é um artista japonês de psicodélico/vanguarda. Desde seu álbum de estréia gravado no início de 1970, Mako cobriu gêneros tão diversos e díspares como folk tradicional japonês, acid folk/rock, experimental, krautrock, rock progressivo e, mais recentemente música ambiente. Contrastate were formed in 1987 by Stephen Meixner and Jonathan Grieve. Their initial musical ventures were of a more improvisational nature, based on noise and volume (not to be confused with power electronics).
